The Quiet Americans - Be Alone
This family band from Fresno, California write incredibly catchy psych-influenced garage rock. Band leader Luke Giffen is something of a Vince Noir - he works by day at the local zoo to support his family - and lays down sweet jams on his 8-track by night with his brother-in-law Eli Reyes and little brother Ross Giffen. Not sure if he can speak to animals, but my bet is he speaks to the pop gods on the reg.
